Terms of Service
The rules of our relationship — written to state what we owe you, not to limit what you are owed.
The rules of our relationship — written to state what we owe you, not to limit what you are owed.
These Terms of Service form the agreement between you and Paragon Learning LLC, a limited liability company registered in Texas, United States. They apply when you browse this website, create a learner account, or enrol in any course, cohort, workshop or mentoring programme. If you are enrolling on behalf of an employer, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
Prices are shown in United States dollars on the course page and, together with any tax, are confirmed on the checkout screen before you pay. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay — we add no booking fees, no processing surcharges and no charges that were not displayed. Detailed payment terms are in our Payment Policy, and cancellation rights are in our Refunds Policy. Both form part of these terms.
When you enrol we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use the course material for your own learning and for your own professional and commercial work, including the code you write while following our lessons. Nothing you build during a course belongs to us.
What the licence does not allow: republishing, reselling, sharing your login, uploading lessons to another platform, or using our material to run a competing training programme. Team and enterprise licences for multiple learners are available — just ask.
Course videos, written lessons, slides, brand names and the design of this website remain the property of Paragon Learning LLC or its licensors. Sample projects released under an open-source licence are marked as such, and that licence governs them.
Please do not do the things that would spoil the platform for other learners: harassment or discriminatory conduct in community channels, attempting to break or probe our security, scraping the site at scale, impersonating staff, or uploading malicious code. We will always warn you before restricting an account for a first, non-serious breach, and you may appeal any decision to contact@paragonlearningll.com.
You keep ownership of the questions, code and projects you post in our community spaces. You give us a limited licence to display them there and, only with your separate written permission, to feature them as a case study. Instructors moderate for safety, not to silence honest criticism of a course.
A certificate of completion is issued when you finish the required modules and assessments. It records your achievement with us. It is not an accredited academic qualification, and we never imply that it is. We do not guarantee employment, salary outcomes or interview results, and we will never quote earnings figures as a promise.
We aim for continuous availability but cannot promise the platform will never be interrupted for maintenance. We may retire an obsolete course from sale; if we do, existing learners keep their access. If we materially reduce a course you have paid for, you may take a full refund under clause 8 of the Refunds Policy.
Courses may reference external tools such as Android Studio, Firebase or GitHub. Those are governed by their own terms and we are not responsible for them, though we will tell you in advance if a course requires a paid third-party subscription.
Our courses are educational material, not professional, legal or financial advice. We provide them with reasonable skill and care, but we cannot guarantee that following a course will produce any particular commercial result. Except as stated in these terms, and to the extent permitted by law, courses are provided as they are described on their course page.
Where we are liable to you, our total liability for any claim connected with a course is limited to the amount you paid for that course. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory consumer rights.
You may close your account at any time; closing it does not by itself entitle you to a refund, but the Refunds Policy still applies. We may suspend an account only for a serious breach of clause 7, non-payment, or fraud. If we terminate your account without a good reason, we refund the unused portion of everything you have paid.
Please raise any complaint with us first: contact@paragonlearningll.com or +1 (906) 401-8728. We commit to a substantive written reply within 10 business days. If we cannot resolve it, both of us are free to pursue the matter in the courts of Travis County, Texas. We do not require you to give up the right to bring a claim in a small-claims court, and we do not impose a class-action waiver.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without displacing any mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live.
We will post any update here and email active learners at least 14 days before a material change takes effect. Changes never apply retroactively to a course you have already bought.
